INSTALLATION TYPES
The canteen system can be installed in various modifications. The alternatives differ in the way of making orders and distribution. “Classical terminal” can be used as well as modern touch-screen displays. In some cases it is sufficient to make orders through a web interface.
Standard order and distribution system
The boarder orders a meal through an ordering terminal with the aid of an ID medium or on the INTRAWEB (through an internet browser) for a specific day (according to the settings). During the distribution, a line of boarders comes to the scanner, touches it with the ID media and the chef (the canteen personnel) distributes the meal according to the number displayed on the screen. The distribution is confirmed by the chef (canteen personnel) by pushing a button. Another boarder follows. Meal can be distributed without prior order as well.
No order system
The meal is not ordered by the boarder in advance. There is only the distribution point with a distribution terminal. During distribution, each boarder in the line gets a meal according to the daily offer. The chef (the canteen personnel) distributes the meal according to the number displayed on a screen. The distribution is confirmed by the chef (canteen personnel) by pushing a button. Another boarder follows.
Standard order and distribution system + till
The boarder orders a meal through an ordering terminal with the aid of an ID medium or on the INTRAWEB (through an internet browser) for a specific day (according to the settings). During the distribution, a line of boarders comes to the scanner, touches it with the ID media and the chef (the canteen personnel) distributes the meal according to the number displayed on a screen. The distribution is confirmed by the chef (canteen personnel) by pushing a button. Another boarder follows. Meals can be distributed without prior order as well.
At the same time the boarder can buy additional food in the canteen (buffet). It is possible to buy not only the additional food (stock management – stock software) which can be purchased in the canteen (buffet), but also regular meals without a prior order. The boarders may pay by the ID medium - ”the attendance card”, by cash or food vouchers. The till is represented by a touch screen computer and an ID media scanner. An unlimited number of tills can be supplied.
No order system + till
The meal is not ordered by the boarder in advance. During distribution, each boarder in the line is given a meal according to the daily offer. A till is placed at the end of the line where the personnel puts in the meal taken and the additional goods purchased. It is possible to pay by the ID medium – ”the attendance card“, by cash or food vouchers. The till is represented by a touch-screen computer and an ID media scanner. An unlimited number of tills can be supplied.
Order – INTRAWEB, distribution – scanner connected to PC (no HW – terminal or screen)
The meal is ordered in the INTRAWEB module through an internet browser. During distribution, each boarder in the line holds his/her ID medium to the scanner and the chef (the canteen personnel) sees the number of the meal on a PC screen. The chef (the canteen personnel) does not confirm distribution. Another boarder follows. Meals can be distributed without a prior order (according to internal rules) and the information is then added into the system.
Order – INTRAWEB, distribution – food voucher (software set)
The meal is ordered in the INTRAWEB module through an internet browser. During the distribution, each boarder in the line puts the food voucher (order confirmation) printed from the application by a responsible employee for the given day according to chosen rules. The chef (the canteen personnel) distributes meals according to vouchers. Another boarder follows. Meals can be distributed without a prior order (according to internal rules) and the information is then added into the system.
Order – PC (TOUCHSCREEN) - ID media scanner, distribution – food voucher (software set)
The meal is ordered on a PC through a scanner connected to it (touch screen module).
Order – PC (TOUCHSCREEN) - ID media scanner, distribution – scanner connected to PC (no HW – terminal or screen)
The meal is ordered on a PC through a scanner connected to it (touch screen module).
